it’s a hard life in the wine tasting business but someone’s gotta do it 🤷🏻‍♀️ nothing like a bit of @trutta_wines to make the job that much better, and our Lo-Fi Hi-Fi night is the perfect excuse!

dillon from Slurp Wine popped upstairs to pour out some vinos, paired with a playlist curated just for tonight, and a time was had indeed 🍷🐟

what do fly fishing and wine making have in common? well, a fair bit when it comes to @trutta.wine 🐟

their low intervention, organic operation in harcourt north takes the disciplines of restraint and patience when casting for trout ('trutta' in latin fyi) and applies it to their wine ethos; precise, quiet and alive to place. thanks to their venn diagram method of production and practice, we get to treat ourselves to some highly drinkable, fresh vinos - perfect for an evening in the loft 🤤

the @trutta.wine team are stopping by on october 2nd from 5pm, bringing some of their stunning range to sip on while they spin a curation of their favourite vinyls to soundtrack your friday night

C for Claire presents ‘OPA!’ with Slurp Wine Club

For one night only, Claire joins us in the Kitchen at Lane’s Edge for a family style Greek feast, with Dillon from SLURP taking over the wines.

The table begins with whipped feta and charred flatbread alongside crispy whitebait with garlic yoghurt, followed by grilled lamb chops with salsa verde, crispy lamb-fat potatoes with lemon, and a fresh iceberg, dill and parsley salad. To finish: warm loukoumades with honey and hazelnuts.

The set menu is $65 per person, with an optional selection of three matched wines curated by Dillon for an additional $35. Due to the nature of this event we won’t be able to accommodate any dietary changes.

Soundtracking the feast will be Darudebouy, Tim Groves and Fingers at Work.

Bookings are staggered between 3pm and 8pm, with only 60 places available.

SLURP will also be taking over the full Lane’s Edge wine list throughout the day. Expect some big hitters from the legends at Defialy, Aristotelis Ke Anthoula, Trutta and Werkstatt.

Date Night, just as we hoped. A beautiful way to begin.

An evening of thoughtful conversation, shared stories, generous pours of wine, plenty of laughter, and Oral Fixations by Long Prawn.

Together with Damien Mulvihill and Mark Simpson of DesignOffice, we came together to celebrate the launch of Chorus - but more importantly, to slow down, ask questions, listen, and connect over design with old friends and new faces.

Thank you to everyone who joined us, and to the partners who made the evening possible: Union, Trutta Wine, Mateo, Long Prawn, Object Massive, M Pavilion, and, of course, Damien and Mark.
