Before making his own Asian Games debut, Kishore Kumar had already helped India create history. 🌊🇮🇳

At the 2024 Asian Surfing Championships, his U-18 semifinal run contributed vital ranking points as India secured its first-ever Asian Games surfing quota places.

The young surfer from Kovalam has since continued his rise, reaching the Open Men’s semifinals at the 2025 Asian Surfing Championships and earning his place in India’s historic four-member squad.

Now, Kishore heads to his first Asian Games as surfing makes its debut at Aichi–Nagoya 2026.

He helped India reach the Games.
Now, he gets to ride the wave himself.
