Minerals, royalties, non-op interests, and energy finance run the calendar from October through March: 23 gatherings across Houston, Denver, Dallas, Oklahoma City, The Woodlands, and Lubbock.

October opens with the Minerals & NonOp Assembly and Energy Council Houston, plus the Association for Corporate Growth Houston Uncorked evening, the Denver Land Institute, and Executive Night. November stacks the Women in Energy Institute, the A&D Strategies & Opportunities Conference, the University of North Texas Energy Horizon conference, the Rice Energy Finance Summit, a fireside luncheon with Scott Sheffield at the Houston Producers Forum, two Houston Energy Finance Group breakfasts, and a full run of landmen luncheons and awards. December and January bring the holiday toy drive lunch, the three-chapter joint luncheon, and the Independent Petroleum Association of America Private Capital Conference. February and March close the run with NAPE Summit and a pair of Society of Petroleum Engineers Gulf Coast Section business development sessions.

Details on all of them at EnergyCalendar.com. Link in bio.

YES I was told there is NO MORE TEXAS TECH GRANTS. It no longer exists! WHY?? So are you over enrolling and overcrowding classrooms to get 💰 for @governorabbott @abbottcampaign and @kenpaxtontx ?? Everyone reading this look what they’re doing to us, taking our money away after it was already accepted and on my account mind you and giving it to politicians! 😤 And @abbottcampaign blocked so nobody can TAG them anymore 🤣🤣🤣 And they WANT OUR VOTE when they’re being SOFT and butt hurt about my post! 😂 TRUTH HURTS!! #texastechuniversity #texastechstudents #texasstudentsmatters #texastechredraiders #texastechalumni

The Texas Tech Law School Scholarship Gala was held in March. It was a great event where the Hon. Lawrence M. Doss was awarded the Distinguished Service Award. My friend Jay Harvey along with Catherine Baen and Karen M. Kennard were honored with Distinguished Alumni awards. It was a great time with Paul Stafford, his wife Nikki, Krisi Kastl and Sean Sullivan, Bill Mateja and Sondi Mateja, and of course, the most beautiful Diane Graves Smith. We saw many friends, including Laura Prendergast Gordon and Pat Gordon, and made new ones throughout the evening! #texastechschooloflaw
