This bill is designed with one specific purpose: to allow Worker Power to withdraw the petitions they submitted to Marana to allow Marana residents to decide for themselves whether or not they want a massive data center there. It only serves the data center developers and their lobbyists. Gov. Hobbs must veto it!

Yesterday, Tucson protested downtown to commemorate the 78th year of Al Nakba, when Zionist forces destroyed over 500 villages and displaced more than 750,000 Palestinians. Al Nakba, Arabic for "the catastrophe" didn't end in 1948 - the genocide of the Palestinian people shows that it never ended.

The resilience of the Palestinian people make it clear that Israel will never succeed and Al Nakba will never be completed!

End U.S. aid to Israel! Free Palestine!

Last week, on May 5th, the Pima County Board of Supervisors voted to intervene in TEPs rate hike case.

It’s clear that TEPs 14% rate increase is wrong. Thank you @supervisorandrescano and @supervisorjenniferallen for standing up to big and greedy corporations trying to take advantage of their customers.

NDDCC statement on the protest against Lazarus & Silvyn, lawyers for Project Blue and frequent donors to the politicians pushing data centers in Pima County.

TLDR: Our elected officials have failed us. They are speaking out on behalf of their campaign donors but remaining silent while Tucson’s water is stolen by the same developers they continue to support.

Enough is enough. Keep disrupting the status quo!

Al Nakba Never Ended!

Join us Friday, May 15th to commemorate the start of Israeli occupation and apartheid in Palestine in 1948. We will be at the intersection of Congress St and Toole Ave. to demand an end to U.S. aid to Israel and a free Palestine!

78 years ago, over 750,000 Palestinians were forcibly displaced from their homes, thousands killed and homes and communities destroyed in the Nakba, the great catastrophe that never truly ended. Today, as Gaza faces genocide, siege, starvation, mass displacement and settler colonialist violence displaced and destroys more Palestinian communities in full impunity and protection by our own government, we gather to remember, and to act.

Join us this Nakba Day weekend to honor Palestinian history, resistance, and the ongoing struggle for liberation. From the streets to community spaces, we refuse erasure and we refuse silence.
