A paddock date for the birthday boy at Cherry’s Run paddock at @sussexcountydogtraining 🎉

We had the loveliest hour living our best lives, celebrating Remy’s second birthday with tug, retrieving dummies, lots of sniffing and most importantly, just spending time bonding together.

These are my favourite moments to share with Remy and I have a feeling they’re his too. 🥹🤎 Just the two of us, doing what we love, making memories and celebrating my boy turning two.

We'll be looking at how pet business can keep current, confident and compliant - and are looking forward to some great discussions.

‘There is no data to support that’ doesn’t mean it’s not a thing.
There is data, it’s just not always collected or even considered.

Diet is always important. Whether it’s treats, food our drinks. Even the environment counts. Especially specific ingredients.

I raised this in the auditorium with the vets, trainers and behaviourists. Especially as the example case study given was a terrier cross.

Something I know a bit about.

Remaining curious is great. Documenting data and controlling variables in scientific experiments is also key.

Taking readings for a null hypothesis against new data is also helpful.

I’d love to get more involved in the science and design experiments to really test the findings on gut pain, ingredients and behaviour.

Because emotions are made in the gut.

If you’d like to find out more, please get in touch with me for a chat.

For my second take away from the fantastic DogX, keep watching 👀

Edition Dog Live 26 Haul

Was lovely to attend @editiondoglive yesterday and catch up with lots of small friends and businesses alike.

Our haul this year is smaller, but I concentrated on things Lottie really needed.

Orthopaedic bed from @alfieandlu_petboutique
Pyramid mat and feast mat from @nofussfill
Silicone mat and bowl from @pupandkit
Picnic mat from @pickpocketforagers
Tug toy won on the @tugenuff stand
We also ordered a custom muddy paws cloth from @thesnoodery which I’m going to use for my wheelchair wheels.

What a day! It was so good to connect with great people and meet so many wonderful dogs and owners. A huge thank you to Clare from Insight Hounds and Sarah from My Anxious Dog for having me along to support you both. It was brilliant to catch up with everyone 🧡

I also picked up a few goodies for my clients, and of course for Manu & Poppy, who will be very happy about that.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello. Already looking forward to next time!

🧡🐾The POWER OF PLAY🐾🧡

If you know me, you’ll know just how much I LOVE incorporating play into my dog walks! And now I’ve got something exciting to share with you all! 😍

I’m delighted to announce that I’ve started working alongside Tug-E-Nuff 🎉

Play is such an important part of my walks. It’s not just about having fun (although we certainly do plenty of that!). It’s about building confidence, strengthening relationships, encouraging engagement and giving dogs an opportunity to express their natural behaviours.🐾

And what better way to celebrate the power of play than by teaming up with a fantastic, family-run business that shares that passion and has amazing products.

Over the next few weeks, I’ll be buying and testing out different Tug-E-Nuff toys during our walks and play sessions, finding out which ones get those tails wagging and sharing our experiences with you!

One thing I particularly love about Tug-E-Nuff is that they don't just sell toys, their website is packed with helpful training tips, videos and ideas to show you how to make play more rewarding and interactive for your dog.🧡

They even have a handy little questionnaire to help you discover which toys might be best suited to your dog. How brilliant is that?

🎁 And there's a little treat for you too!
You can get 10% OFF your order when you shop through my link, which I'll pop below.

🐶 And as you can see, I think Dash is going to take his new role as official toy tester VERY seriously! 😂

I can't wait to try out more of their toys, discover new ways to bring play into our walks and hopefully inspire you to have even more fun with your own dogs.

Because sometimes, the most valuable part of a walk isn't how far we go… it's the connection we build along the way. 🧡

POV: you went to @editiondoglive and spent all mum’s money 🛍️💸
Shopped, snacked, got spoilt rotten, met loads of lovely small businesses and watched an amazing display by @thetrickstarsuk and @creek_canines 🤩 We even met the lovely @three.legged.flora and ordered a posh new feeding station from @dogbowldave 👑
We’re all absolutely EXHAUSTED (I even had a cuddle with Auntie Hazel in the car on the way home).
I filmed LOADS for you all, so stay tuned while mum shows you what we got up to and a haul! 🛍️🫣🩵
