Want your dog to choose you when there’s a whole world of distractions going on? Make coming back worth it. 🧡🐶

Good recall isn’t just about teaching your dog to respond to their name. It’s about building a habit wherecoming back to you leads to something they actually enjoy.

That could be a game of tug, a chase, a retrieve or a scent game with the toys in our Recall Revolution Bundle.

💡Trainer tip: Don’t keep your best rewards for the hardest recalls. Use them throughout your training so your dog gets plenty of practice choosing to come back to you.

And remember: if there’s something more interesting going on, you need to be pretty interestingtoo. 😉

Want to make your dog’s favourite toy even more exciting? Don’t leave it lying around all day. 🐶

Some toys are best kept for special occasions - especially when you’re using them as a recall reward.

The Faux Fur Squeaky Bungee Chaser is perfect for short bursts of chase and play, so bring it out on walks or during training, then put it away again.

💡 Trainer tip: Keep your best recall toy just for walks and training. When your dog doesn’t have access to it all the time, it can become much more exciting when it does make an appearance.

Sometimes, making a toy special is as simple as not letting your dog have it whenever they want.

Darker nights don’t have to mean bored dogs. 🐶🌙

When walks are shorter and outdoor time is a bit more limited, there’s still plenty you can do to keep your dog busy at home.

A few minutes of tug, a scent game, a game of fetch or a bit of chase can give them a chance to move, think and have some fun - all without leaving the house.

And it’s not just about burning off energy. Play is a great way to practise focus, build engagement and spend some proper one-on-one time together.

So, when it’s cold, wet and dark outside…bring the fun indoors!

🐾Find their next favourite game in the Tug-E-Nuff range.

Got a dog with a serious prey drive? Don’t fight it - put it to work. 🐶🧡

Chasing, movement and play are powerful motivators, so you can use what your dog naturally loves to make recall more rewarding.

Instead of trying to switch that instinct off, channel it back towards you. Build a bit of excitement, call your dog back, then give them an outlet with a game of chase or tug.

💡Trainer tip: Think about what makes your dog tick. If they love to chase, make movement part of the reward. If tug is their thing, bring out their favourite toy.

You’re not taking the fun away - you’re just making yourself part of it.

As we have taken 3 dogs on holiday, who all love training and enrichment, we thought it would be the perfect time to try out the @tugenuff Recall Revolution Bundle!

Hekki, Luther and Moriarty had an absolute blast and they definitely had their favourites - can you tell what each of their favourites were? 🤭

The Recall Revolution Bundle includes:

1. The Clam - a huge hit with all of the boys (possibly because it was filled with roast beef and cheese!) but especially with Luther who loves a retrieve thanks to his gun dog training!
2. Faux Fur Squeaky Bungee Chaser - this tempting floofy tug had Hekki leaping around!
3. Fauxtastic Powerball Bungee - we discovered Moriarty absolutely loves a game of tug!

Does every recall reward need to be high energy? Not always. 🧡🐶

Sometimes your dog needs a full-on game of chase. Sometimes they just need to get their nose on the job. 👃

That’s where The Clam comes in. It’s a brilliant way to bring scent work into recall training, giving your dog something rewarding to sniff, search for and work out - without sending their excitement levels through the roof.

Try mixing it up ➡️ If your dog is already buzzing, swap the high-energy toy for a Clam scent game. If they need a little more oomph, bring out their favourite toy and turn the excitement up.

The secret? Match the reward to the dog in front of you.

Because good recall isn’t about going BIG every time. It’s about understanding what makes your dog want to come back. 🧡
