When workers rights are under attack, what do we do? Stand Up, Fight Back! ✊🏾πŸ”₯ Baristas are taking on one of the biggest corporations in the world, and they’re not fighting alone. North Texas unionists are educated and fed up with unchecked corporate greed, executives ignoring baristas concerns while breaking more labor laws than any other company in modern U.S. history! SHAME! We’re proud to join workers to #BoycottStarbucks until baristas win a fair union contract. Join the NTx labor movement and stand with union baristas – take the pledge and let’s show Starbucks that working people stand with baristas until they win. ➑️ BoycottStarbucks.net @sbworkersunited ✊🏾

From El Paso to Houston, workers are taking back their power! Labor Day is a celebration of the power our labor movement has when we come together. And this year, we’re using that power and solidarity to speak up for all Texas workers. In the upcoming election, we’re mobilizing to elect pro-worker candidates who will be on our side, not the side of billionaires or wealthy CEOs. Join us: texasaflcio.org/volunteer

Dallas city workers are under attack, What do we do?! STAND UP, FIGHT BACK! Following the NTx ALF’s inaugural Labor Day celebration, β€œDallas Living Wage Policy” Committee Chairwoman Rosie Curts was joined by NTx ALF President Tevita β€˜Uhatafe and NTx ALF Vice President David Marshall as labor stands with area faith leaders to sound the alarm on the proposed Dallas city budget cuts harming the most vulnerable city workers. We stand in solidarity with the coalition to protect city workers and encourage our allies to join us. Special shout out @bridgentx for bringing us together to keep a Dallas city worker wage a livable wage!
