When you make your needs a priority, everything changes…

One of my greatest gifts, that I thought was a curse for ages, is that I feel everything deeply.

I have learned how to work with my emotional landscape (and still learning) and nervous system with support—thank you Tully @tullyoconnor and Catalina @in_breath Uma @umadinsmoretuli and Noraya @noraya_kalam and others in order to feel safe allowing the whole spectrum of myself to be experienced. When we know ourselves and honour our needs, we reclaim the wild parts of ourselves—

A prayer for the beauty of the hearts of men.

Yes I am going to put my judgement hat on and unpack the #manosphere doco in coming posts but this is my truest response to it.
.
This prayer started on a mountain in Peru 8 years ago and is now an offering shared from my heart.
.
It’s easy to judge the young men who have lost their way. It’s easy to label them toxic or bad without actually asking ourselves where have we not shown courage to love these parts of the world back into beauty.
.
What if the answer wasn’t to criticise and analyse and get to the root cause of the problem.

What if instead we committed to expressing the beauty that sits within our hearts. So much so that the beauty brought us to our knees, and we started to remember that through our own hearts and the heart of Mother Earth we can come home to the love that has always been here, that always will be here.
.
And then from a place of boundless love we can meet the world.
.
It’s not crypto, nuclear power, or some contract about oil that will save the world. It’s beauty.
.
That’s what truly stops us in our tracks. It’s what moves us to act in accordance with the natural rhythm of life.
.
So please go boldly with beauty in your hands, hearts and voices. It will serve you and those around you in ways the world is needing it right now.
.
And even if we fail, how beautiful it will be to be witnessed giving our hearts with full force for nothing more than the sake of being a human filled with love. What a way to go.
.

There’s a lot of talk about freedom income, being a digital nomad, etc online. But what does it actually look like to create a level of freedom?
For a lot of founders, the goal is not to “not work”. Often times your work is very much connected to purpose and passion.
But when you become a parent, there is a very real desire to run off into the Italian country side and go off grid for 3 months and everything still run smoothly.
So many people building brands and businesses are so meshed with it, that there is no space. If you personally don’t show up every day, yourself, no matter your mood, your energy levels, and what’s going on in your personal life… then the business begins to wobble.

@goldendays.club is helping families get their time back in a few ways. One is increasing the resources generated by the business so there is less pressure. Getting paid means more choice. And also means possibility to outsource the bits you don’t love. Secondly systems and leverage -helping founders begin to create structures that means they can take more time away, and lastly, mindset and bodywork because you can have the structure and the money, but be addicted to being productive/work. We help parents relax deeper into their lives, connect deeper in their relationships, understand themselves and lead themselves better, so that they can actually enjoy the golden days of their lives with their families. While building wealth that can support a family vision, building a business that is more self sustaining, and build a relationship with business that is nourishing and creative.
