The biggest surprises in life can already be knocking at your door. The gift doesn't show up in a box, it shows up in its own beautiful simplicity of just existing.

In 'Stories' I share Mom, Dad & 2 sibling Fox family blessing my backyard. Already giddy with excitement, ten minutes later, I capture a video clip of a 3rd baby Fox trailing behind. (June 5th, 2019)

I have never seen live wild Foxes, even growing up in Washington State, the NW of the United States, even with my hometown surrounded by mountains. But they came to visit me in the city limits in Austin, Texas.
There is significant spiritual meaning when a Fox, customarily in solidarity, chooses to reveal themselves to you. The Mom came visit me solo when I was outside alone, the night of the Strawberry Full Moon (June 21st, 2019).

Et après des mois de réflexion, de remise en question et de baston pour combattre ce qui est devenu mes nouveaux réflexes de survie, me dire que la confiance c’est encore possible, et qu’IL n’est pas LUI, baisser sa garde est un exercice TRÈS TRÈS difficile pour moi. Et difficile à comprendre pour la personne en face. Et oui, lui, il arrive avec ses bonnes intentions et son cœur sur un plateau, et au lieu de dire merci moi je sors ma loupe, mes lunettes à vision de nuit et mon attirail de médecin légiste.

Non ce n’est pas de sa faute, et il ne devrait pas payer l’addition de la table d’à côté, mais la dernière fois qu’on m’a dit “Je t’aime” on a voulu m’anéantir ensuite.

Alors au futur mec qui partagera ma vie, je suis désolée si un délinquant avant toi a transformé les 3 plus jolis mots de la Terre en traumatisme. Je suis désolée si tu dois te battre pour franchir des obstacles laissés par quelqu’un d’autre. Mais si tu as la foi d’insister un peu, promis on sera bien. Je sais réparer un lave-linge et faire des crêpes.
