I was here for the turtle… but someone else wanted the spotlight. 😂🐢

Just a green sea turtle cruising through the crystal-clear waters of Martinique, with her little entourage underneath. Then the remora decided it was his moment. 💀🌊

Doch dann bemerkten wir etwas Überraschendes …

💙 Was glaubst du, was die Schildkröte hier macht?

🐢😳 What's wrong with this turtle?

When we first spotted this turtle, we thought she was stuck beneath the coral and couldn't get out.

She kept moving back and forth, and we were genuinely worried! 😰

But then we noticed something surprising …

💙 What do YOU think this turtle is doing?

👉 Find out in Part 2!

We don’t need flying cars. We need clean air, clean water, healthy habitats, less development and destruction. Less conflict, more peace and no hate. Even the turtles agree 🐢

Nature spares no one… not even the most innocent.

I met this green sea turtle in the ocean in the Caribbean sea.

One side of her face was severely affected by fibropapilomatosis, a disease that can cause debilitating tumors in sea turtles.
The other side still revealed the beautiful creature she was.

I don't know what happened to her after our encounter. I can only hope she finds peace.

We often see the ocean as a paradise, but beneath its beauty, there is also suffering, fragility, and loss.

Not every encounter leaves us with a smile. Some stay with us because they remind us how precious life is.
