LATE POST | 2026.06.08 Cordillera Mini-Epic Challenge Part 1: The Climb to Ambuklao Dam 🏔️

Recorded the entire climb, and it felt like a waste not to share the journey! This was actually our favorite segment of the race—mostly because our skills were... lacking for the single-track sections. Hahaha! 😅

It was a day of relentless road ascents, fast descents, and one minor “bump” with a fellow cyclist. We managed to push through the whole climb with only one stop before that final, steepest kick.

Stay tuned for Part 2! 😂

LATE POST: 2025.06.08

We survived the Mini-Epic Cordillera 35km and @pat_racho’s first race! 1,000m+ of elevation gain with some brutal climbs and descents. The single-track sections were a nightmare because of the slippery moss, but the rest of the trail was a blast—even if our technical skills weren’t quite there for some of the tougher parts! 😂

Definitely had a lot of hike-a-bike moments. Haha! Not sure if we’re ready to sign up for another one just yet, but we’re willing to be part of the cheering squad next year!

Pre-race Baguio highlights: biking and walking hills, eating our way through town (those cream puffs!!), and relaxing at @vjdomi’s transient home—listening to stories of @bikewrench’s college days while waiting for @chrislicuanan to find his way out of the SM maze. 😁

05.24.2025 | We went on an island hopping tour with the Courier fam and had lunch at Olivia’s. We rode our bikes onto the roro again, got rained on while on the way to our Airbnb, and ended our day with a nice bowl of La Paz Batchoy at Alicia’s. 🩷
