After two years planning the dang thing, apologies but the details deserve a post on the grid. I met with so many florists and cannot thank @madeforyoufloralstudio enough for understanding our vision for a classy tropical theme and my beautiful bird of paradise bouquet! I spent wayyyyy too long looking for a mirror decal on Etsy and months of my life searching for bird of paradise napkins before finding @sobremeza_mia! Jon at @theluckyponymobilebar, we could not have gotten luckier finding you! For our bar, it was very important to us to include drinks named after the pups that couldn’t join us and that all beers be our favorites from San Diego. Eric’s two requests: Mini golf and tiki glasses. Thank you @sdpopupminigolf for providing the best wedding experience! It was so much dang fun picking out all these tiki glasses and seeing which ones everyone picked! Meanwhile, @twirlyshears had the difficult task of getting my hair to stay curled and putting makeup on someone who doesn’t wear any so had no suggestions to give! Kandra crushed it and my hair stayed all night! I had a vision for custom @padres jerseys for our guest book and I am so happy with how they came out! You might recognize these as the same jerseys from us engagement photos. We love a multipurpose item. The first vendor we booked was @stellaspizzapie, literally 19 months before the wedding. The charcuterie table was of the utmost importance and it was beautiful! Also can we get that meatball recipe?!?! I knew right away I didn’t want cake and wanted ice cream. Thank you to @handelscarlsbad for serving our favorite flavors! The moment I saw @cardiffsealodge, I knew our first look had to take place on the rooftop! My favorite detail, wasn’t even planned! @jaxstar92 and @bkoldham surprised us with the most beautiful drawing and we HAD to include it on the day. Creating all the signage and mini golf scorecards was so much fun and a great creative exercise for myself, h/t to @canva! Thank you to all our amazing vendors and lastly to the @epiceventsco staff, @epiceventsstudios photo & video, and @thesecretgardenrsf!
