Only the Pillars Were Immovable- Study of a Monument for the Former Industrial Complex of Călan Initiated by Alexandra Mocan, Twisted Lullabies seeks to support artistic projects that reflect on Eastern European culture and embrace research rooted in direct, on-site experience. As part of this journey, a small group of artists—including myself—traveled through Romania’s post-industrial landscapes, visiting towns and communities shaped by the silent aftermath of economic transition.
