Here's a peek at my day spent at the @countrylivingfair in Rhinebeck, New York.

Even the country drive was a treat — the fall colors were just so brilliant and beautiful. 🍁

And the vendor displays? Gorgeous. Every booth was styled like a little room you wanted to move right into — layered, collected, and full of charm. (I've tagged several of my favorite vendors below if you are interested in checking them out) 🧡

Stacks of creamy white ironstone. Silver with that perfectly imperfect patina. And a horse weathervane from the 1800s — imagine, he once stood on top of someone's barn, turning with the wind. Be still my heart.

I came home with a heart full of inspiration — and so many ideas for my own home.

Thank you @countrylivingfair for bringing back one of our favorite east coast events! So great to see our friend Maryellen @twiststyle and all of her gorgeous new jewels! Another highlight was finally getting to meet Mary + Rob of @farm_sea. I knew we would love them. Besides their great products, we share a love for Maine 💚🌲. Always so many great sights and fun finds at this fair. If you’ve never been it’s a must! It was a great day to get a little shopping done from Jennifer Lanne’s beautiful collection @jenniferlanne.studio . Many years ago I was lucky enough to take a paint class at her art barn studio🎨. So fun!
The fair will be going on all weekend!

Artists & creatives are innately collectors and curators.

This past weekend, @hootenannieart brought her beloved people collection to my studio.

This weekend was a balm for my soul and for all our creative souls. We planned it for a year....🫶✨.

Now I want to lock myself in my cottage and just make art. I am so inspired by this group.

The last picture is me sitting outside as the girls pull away. So many emotions & feels...but the the biggest swell of emotion is gratitude.

True generosity is a beautiful gift & this week @twiststyle shared the heart of how she creates her fabulous crochet jewelry.

The supplies and 25 years of wisdom was flowing freely all week. ✨If you get a chance to take a class with @twiststyle , jump full in. She is a magical human, a fabulous teacher & an inspiring artist.✨

This year I wanted to be student as well as a teacher, and the past 11 days have been refilling my creative well. The fun part will be taking some of the techniques Maryellen taught and seeing how they apply to my own art work. Felt invigorating yo leave my comfort zone & learn from a master.

And look how much jewelry I made! A special thanks to @hootenannieart @dayledoroshow and at @sepiaandglitter for organizing this week & the treasure hunting adventures.

We danced, we shared, we created, we were siiiiilllllly and we all were a family for one beautiful week in an artisan town in glorious France.

In this lifetime...get to the studio of @alinecauvin ✨This 1800 century jacket was hanging in the back of her studio as if waiting for me.....(thank you @sepiaandglitter for seeing this Union). Then we went to the studio of @sharonpaynebolton which was insanely inspiring. Love her and her work! ✨ This South France party is run by @hootenannieart @dayledoroshow @sepiaandglitter ✨✨✨✨✨. It seems surreal that the beautiful group of folks that were in attendance what feels like about four hours ago (and in reality was two days ago), are scattering back to the four winds. We will never have this group of people together again, but as they say, ‘don’t be sad it’s over, be glad it happened.’
This was the best day of my life.
And everybody who was there contributed to that dream. (Gosh, I’m tearing up as I’m writing this.) 😭
Thank you everyone who moved mountains to be there.
Everyone who shared their talents to make it happen. (Post to come where I share links to the super artists across so many fields!)
The creative energy leading to new friendships that will change lives in the fullness of time. The highest vibration of energy was humming in the air because of you all. Brian and I are humbled and so thankful for all the well wishes and comments!! ❤️
