Colorado and #flyfishing part one!!! Flew into @visitdenver drove to @silverthornecolorado stopped at @cutthroatanglers to pick up some advice and flies. Fished behind the shop and then grabbed a cup of Joe from @redbuffalocafe and continued on our journey for a few more fish stops on the Blue River before heading to our final destination of Steamboat to see our best friend @harrisonbmusic and @cousincurtiss rock it out for two nights! The last seven photos are the Yampa River through downtown, Pearl Lake and finally Steamboat Lake! This trip wouldn’t be complete without the hats from @thetroutdepartment

Saturday was spent soaking up the sun, riding slides, and having an absolute blast at @soakymountain ! 🌊 Then Sunday somehow topped it with a day fishing the beautiful Little River in Townsend. 🎣🏔️

Waterpark one day, trout fishing in the Smokies the next… that’s my kind of weekend! ❤️ #troutonthefly #mountaintrout #tnflyfishing #ladyflyfisher #flyfishingnation

The Weekenders IV, this time we hit the Caney. Stayed at the dam and worked our way to Stone Wall. We each caught a trout first in at the dam. I snagged three more and they jumped the hook as I reeled them in. @twotonepepper caught his second one at Stone Wall. All in all a great day! Water temps hovered around 52 degrees. Fished the first half in the rain and started getting too cold, even my nail beds were turning blue, so off to the car to remove my soaked fishing shirt and to warm up in the heat! #trout #flysfishing #ladyfisher #tnflyfishing

The Weekenders II. Headed south due to storms and fished the Elk, we both caught some browns and rainbows. Even caught some super tinies! Water was 60• loving my neoprene pants!!! Ordered some backcountry skins but got these pair on Amazon cause I couldn’t wait! 😂🤣😂🤣 also a hat that doesn’t make me look like Gollum. The browns are so pretty! I caught one that was super copper on the top ridge. @thetroutdepartment I think I’ve earned a hat by now!!!!! Also used an olive nymph and greenie weenie for bait from @flysouthoutfitters Neoprene pants cause I couldn’t wait for my @backcountryskinz to arrive! 😂🤣😂🤣🙈 #tntrout #ladyfisher #flyfishing go @cubs #ladyflyfishing

There’s something special about celebrating the Fourth with the people you love most. 🇺🇸❤️ a day full of #rainbows

This year was one for the books. We spent the day teaching our sweet niece, Reagan, how to fly fish, and watching her catch her very first trout was a moment none of us will forget. Seeing that excitement on her face was priceless.

Everyone caught fish, but Tim definitely stole the show with 10 beautiful rainbow trout! 🎣 Tim also lost one of his favorite fishing shoes from @merrell

We wrapped up the perfect day with coffee, pizza, watching the whitewater rafters, and ended the night with fireworks from the garage. Simple moments, full hearts, and memories we’ll be talking about for years.

Grateful for family, fresh mountain air, and traditions that keep getting better every year. Happy Fourth of July! 🇺🇸✨
