Year 1 in our new home. Year 6 as Gracie Barra Ventura.

We moved from 1,500 sq ft to over 11,000. Grateful for every person in this photo. Kids, parents, students, professors. You showed up, you trained, you made this academy a family.

The new facility was the start of the next chapter. We keep growing from here. More classes, more teammates, more people who walk in and find a home on these mats.

The full picture, finally! Years of left-sided injuries trained her nervous system to favor the right side and that pattern stuck around long after the knee got better. The strength is there, the knee is fine, so the work now is retraining the movement strategy not rebuilding the muscle. This is what you find when you actually test instead of guess. DM us to book your ForceDecks assessment.

Quad strength test on both sides, max effort, and no significant difference between legs. The quad is strong and the knee is healed, so why does the right side take over every single time both feet are on the ground? Watch all the way through for the answer. Ep 5 of 6

Built by the people who show up.
Not just the ones who train hard — the ones who stay late, help the new white belts, coach the kids, clean the mats, and treat this place like family.
Gracie Barra Ventura wasn’t built by one person. It was built by all of us. Every belt, every story, every quiet act of support that never makes the highlight reel.
Proud to be part of this community. Grateful for every single person in this photo and the ones who couldn’t make it.
This is home.

Amora must have had the best birthday weekend ever!🎉

We live 8 hours away from almost all of my family and have come to accept that it’s too far to expect many to come celebrate special times but it didn’t stop them!
My grandparents aunts, uncles and cousins all came out and surprised us. 🥰
💕
It was so much fun spending time at the beach, Crowne plaza pool, the Aquatic Center bday bash and Finneys to top the weekend off.
✨
I truly enjoyed every moment and wish we could all be together more often.
There’s nothing more special than celebrating with those we love.
💕
Cheers to many more celebrations 💕
