Where does a chef with @thedutchnyc and @theastornyc eat on his night off? 🍸 @andrewcarmellini lets us in on his NYC rotation.

He’s lived in Manhattan for 36 years and calls Chelsea home. His picks include Basque tapas at @txikitonyc, wings and highballs at @bargoto_nyc, and the West Village bar @angelssharenyc.

His full list, from old school favorites to a Flushing date night, is in the article from @cindyaugustine at the link in bio.

Follow and DM us “GUIDE” and we’ll send you the 2026 Best New Restaurants Guide.

best bites comin in hot, bit of NYC and a bit of London with another dump this weekend… eats have been too good!

1. The Gildas and quisquillas @txikitonyc are the snack of my dreams and ideal start to a meal

2. First trip to @august.bakery_ changed me forever… the ham and cheese swirl was ridiculous

3. Best chicken I’ve ever had it also was 10 million dollars… more there soon

4. @ruths.london I love you and this pepper dish

5. End of summer dream, juicy marinated figs and mozzarella @therivercafelondon

6. Solo rooftop dinner in which I discovered that the spicy salmon roll from @ozakaya_nyc is the best I’ve had in the city

More soon xo

Heirlooms: Varieties like Brandywine, Cherokee Purple, and Jersey tomatoes are high-value favorites. Their unique shapes, deep colors, and complex flavors command premium prices.
Beefsteaks & Standard Slicers: Big, juicy varieties like Big Beef, Mountain Fresh, and Red Deuce are high-yielding, visually uniform, and firm enough to prevent bruising during transit.
Cherry & Specialty Tomatoes: Sungold (orange, extremely sweet) and mixed cherry tomatoes are incredibly popular for snacking and salads, often selling out first at peak markets.
