Memorial Day Weekend on Lake Conroe! ⛈️⛈️🌊🌊

This absolute tank went 7.2 lbs and smoked a topwater bait in the middle of the day right before the storms rolled in. 💥

Lake Conroe is heating up with water temps in the upper 70s to low 80s. Recent rains have the lake rising, but we’re still finding 1–3 feet of visibility across much of the lake. Topwater, worms, and the green light bite have all been producing quality fish. Even a few hybrids here and there for some extra fun!

With Memorial Day just around the corner and water temps climbing into the upper 70°s only 1/2ft below pool and shad spawn is still hanging on at #lakeconroetx. Bass early morning & evening bites has been MONEY. Secondary points, 6-10 Ft deep with a green light, somewhere nearby. Anything to mimic shad, burning CB’s #rapala DT 8/10 and walking Spooks, seems to be getting all the big fish. Catching numbers dragging worms on calm secondary points and hard spots once the sun gets up. Plenty of open days for rest of May and beginning of June!!
