August is finally over! But with the water temperature is still ending the day in the lower 90°s. With tropical storm Edourdo making landfall on the Texas coast today, Lake Conroe is preparing for 2 to 5 inches of rain over the next few days! Hopefully that cools it down a little.😅 Since, fall is just around the corner bass will school up on gizzards hard! With Memorial Day just around the corner and water temps climbing into the upper 70°s only 1/2ft below pool and shad spawn is still hanging on at #lakeconroetx. Bass early morning & evening bites has been MONEY. Secondary points, 6-10 Ft deep with a green light, somewhere nearby. Anything to mimic shad, burning CB’s #rapala DT 8/10 and walking Spooks, seems to be getting all the big fish. Catching numbers dragging worms on calm secondary points and hard spots once the sun gets up. Plenty of open days for rest of May and beginning of June!!

Had a blast fishing in the mega bass out at Lake Fork decided to catch the over in practice the day before the tournament 🤣 she measured 24 1/16 inches taken in Lake Fork by @tyler_hamfishing

Great day out at #lakefork practicing for the #skeeterboats tournament next weekend. Managed to snag this one off a brush-pile in about 12 foot on the new #rapala DT8 gizzard shad🤫🤫. She had me wrapped up in the pile for a while, just blessed I was able to land her. 💪💪 taken in Lake Fork Texas by @tyler_hamfishing
