Medium format test shots from my old Koni Omega Rapid M. Aside from an issue with the rangefinder focus, I’m beyond excited with the results. I resolved the light leaks and crazy halation I had before. Shutter speed and aperture are accurate. The detail and quality of medium format is unreal. And the bokeh from this lens is 🤌

A couple of these portraits have landed in my favorites album and I hope there are many more to come. Swipe to see the beast 📷

Big thank you to everyone who patiently let me snap photos of them while I sorted out the quirks of shooting with this thing 💛

Last week I got to spend an evening with @tylerpodomik while he painted a storage container for @riverlifepgh.

What started as a quick camera test turned into a full evening of portraits, documenting his process, learning about what drives him as an artist and as a human, listening to the sounds of a car meet unfold under the bridge in the parking lot next to us, and watching trains go by with friends. It was also a fun challenge working with a strobe in changing conditions and experimenting with new techniques. This evening gave me life and lots of joy.

“I’m up and I’m set how could I be upset?”

1 year since KINGPEN released. One of my favorite projects to make. Man this album has so much heat on it. Salute to @brainorchestra_ for supplying these 12 instrumentals that sparked the inspiration for what I wrote/recorded... What those formed into were a crazy batch of songs where my pen was undeniably on fire… about 3-4 songs into the process I realized what it was becoming, and those songs were all molded into a concept album, where I assumed the role of KINGPEN… a comic book villain type, that’s out for his in the rap game lol. Me and my fam @djbattlemonkey literally chopped up comic books like they were samples, and created a whole physical COMIC BOOK 🔥, that is a companion to the album and goes along with the story / the character that I created. If you were one of the people who copped a vinyl from me then you were lucky enough to receive the limited comic book. (They’ll never be repressed again!) 🚨 I have NINE COPIES LEFT so act fast if you still want to grab one, because I might even take them offline and save them for merch at my next show. Peace and infinite love to everyone who checked out the album, and supreme gratitude to all who contributed to this project. If you read all the way this far then you a legend and should drop a comment to let me know what your favorite song is!

Cosmo Train, Breaking 65, Session 1. Our attempt to break 65 as a 2 man scramble. But let's first take a step back to how we met. In 2023 we each started our respective journeys to climb the hardest things we've ever climbed. Coal Train and Cosmonaut became our obsessions. We didn't really know each other when we started those journeys. But through Instagram, we followed each other through the highs and lows. Through the January days when it was 3 degrees out and we chased ideal climbing conditions even if it meant fighting the brutal temps. Through the mental battles of coming so close and falling on one of the last moves. And then, on a fateful day, 3/24/24, 200 miles between us, finishing those journeys together. Our friendship wrote itself from there. As we transition to the next chapter of our lives of being golfers, our next challenge awaits.Team Cosmo Train. Is it gonna be easy? Hell no. We came up 8 shots short on our first attempt. Will we eventually do it? You better damn believe it. One thing's for sure. It'll be on the same fateful day again.
