15. Romy & Michele hitting New York. Friendship, absurdity, and heart in high heels.

17. The perfect fall day in Central Park with Monique Coleman

In the Fall 2025 issue of SDC JOURNAL, director Kristin Hanggi and choreographer Maxx Reed speak about the development of the new musical “It’s All Your Fault, Tyler Price!” and their journey to understand how some theatrical lighting design affects individuals with photosensitive epilepsy, in which exposure to flashing lights, strobe effects, and other intense visual stimuli can trigger seizure, migraines, or dizziness in people with epilepsy. 🎉 Congratulations to our client, Ben Decter, on winning the 2025 STAGE RAW AWARD for Best Original Music for the world premiere of “It’s All Your Fault, Tyler Price!” 🎭🎶

The musical, directed by Kristin Hanggi, ran at the Hudson Theatre Mainstage in fall 2024, and we’re thrilled to see Ben’s incredible work recognized.

Oh my goodness—what a blast we had bringing Tyler Price to San Diego for a special performance in early March!
There’s something so wild and wonderful about doing theater in a ballroom—but this one was extra special. We got to blend large-scale video with live performance and share the message of our show with a new audience deeply aligned with its values.

I just love this show. I love the people in it. Watching the young cast build real friendships and light up onstage brings me so much joy. Tyler Price continues to remind me how magical theater can be—how it connects, transforms, and inspires.

This was a month of globetrotting with shows from all over - we had ‘Passion Fruit Shake’ from the Philippines, ‘Once We Lived Here’ from Australia and even Westeros with the GOT prequel musical ‘Tyrell’ 🏰

One of my highlights of the month was ‘An Appalachian Twelfth Night’ with an amazing version of ‘Oh Mistress Mine’ set to the tune of ‘Wayfaring Stranger’ 🩵
