DAKOTA IS BACK! 🔥 Kisah di Balik Lagu Baru Hollow Front

Metalhead wajib merapat! @hollowfront baru saja merilis single terbaru mereka berjudul "So Long To Yesterday". Tapi, lagu ini bukan cuma sekadar rilisan biasa. Ini adalah simbol kemenangan dan air mata! 🎸💔

"So Long To Yesterday" adalah lead single untuk album terbaru mereka, No Love Without Despair, yang bakal rilis tanggal 11 Desember nanti via @unfdcentral.

Aransemennya megah, riff gitarnya berat, dan liriknya bener-bener tentang perjuangan bangkit dari masa lalu. FIX, ini bakal jadi salah satu Metalcore Anthem terbaik tahun ini! 🤯

🎧 Udah dengerin lagunya belum? Tonton video musiknya sekarang di YouTube atau dengerin di Spotify favorit kalian!

We wrote the first demo for “So Long to Yesterday” almost two years ago, only a few months after Dakota’s stroke. At the time, we didn’t know if he would ever return to Hollow Front or if we were even going to be a band for much longer. We just wanted to have fun and make music with our friend again.

A year after we wrote that demo, Dakota officially rejoined Hollow Front and we finished it. Hearing his voice back in the band and watching him continue to recover made the song feel even more special. It felt triumphant.

So when it came time to choose the track we wanted to lead with, starting here felt right. This isn’t the heaviest song we have coming, but it shines a spotlight on Dakota’s voice, his recovery, and everything his return means to us.

This song captures the beginning of that journey, before any of us knew where it was going. Now we finally get to release it with Dakota officially back in the band.

We couldn’t think of a better way to welcome him home than by letting his voice and his story take center stage.

“So Long to Yesterday” is yours at midnight.

@hollowfront - To The Ashes 🔥 I think this is the hardest riff/song I've learned so far. This band is way too underrated.

I don't even know if I'm playing this riff right. So don't judge me too bad haha

Will you hold us to, this pain renewed, time brought us to the edge. The flames anew, burn a dream we lose, our lies caught us in the end. Do we burn alive, just to fail again, do we deserve a second chance? Do we burn alive, just to fail again? Surrender to the ashes.

Jamming a few riffs from our song “The Truth of Us” and it also features @tylertatehf from the band @hollowfront 🎸🔥
What do you think — should we play this live more often? 🤷‍♂️
