“Just because we’re magic doesn’t mean we’re not real.” @heykimnicole + I produced this shoot several years ago out of a burning passion to see the narrative around Black women change in this country, and in the world. I think we can all agree that’s still a need.

But these powerful friends of ours giving of their time, energy, beauty, and fire that day out of a shared passion was a true gift. Thank you @iamamarisdavidson for the reminder to revisit this🤎 #TheBareProject

A writer once wrote, "If you don't like what's being said, change the conversation." Our sentiments exactly. #TheBAREProject #changetheconversation #soBARE #BlackGirlMagic

#TLeeOnTV reminded me the other day of this epic birthday celebration from years back and I went looking for this, the only [appropriate] picture from that night. Only once before in life had I been as craaazy drunk as I was this evening and I have NEVER been as drunk since. #wisdom ***See also: one of the most fun nights e-ver 😂😂😂 #Throwback #Hollywood #OutAllNight #HadToSleepInMyBathroomWhenIGotHome

#TBT Excited to see Uncle @jamesoliver21 and Aunt @queenrop tomorrow, knowing my mom's spirit is ecstatic I'm spending the holiday with her brother & sister. But missing my own sister-cousin @tyra_m_oliver. Wish you were here. Hope to see you soon. ❤️❤️😘 #TBT #ThisNightWasSoFun #HappyThanksgiving #Family Not Pictured/Other Arm: @therowill 😏

@amaris310 is on point and taking me back with her #TBT today!! Two productions I'm extremely proud of, this one being my #1 source of pride to date. #TheBAREProject was a spirit-filled labor of love by @kimberlyvandiver and me featuring some of the most beautiful models, actresses, and thinkers in the business and I can't wait to further explore the conversation this piece started. #BlackGirlMagic #BeautifulWomen #Writer #Producer #TheCreativeLife
