GPO 1944 ‘How to be a good secretary ’ Bakelite Telephone 232 can be seen, a career for girls informative video as they were said to have the kinder softer voice which played an important part for telephone operators for the day duty and a long career. This was a educational film for a good career to avoid playing with hair, writing ‘dreary letters’, not making personal social calls whilst working and eating whilst using the telephone could impede speech. This is a great clip showing part of social history 🇬🇧 many thanks to britishpathe for this clip #1944 #1940s #socialhistory #telephone #telephonelines

Davanti, metallo e storia.
Dietro, sguardi femminili sicuri, liberi, affascinanti.

Olivetti, Remington, Underwood, Royal, Hermes…

Totalmente senza tempo.
