I think about the delivery as,

• Load
• Unload
• Finish

I’ve moved away from terms like “explode”, because if you load correctly & create tension, the unload happens by itself. Similar to a bow & arrow.

Rotation is the result of an unraveling process.

How quiet can you keep your head during your delivery?

The ball goes where your head goes.

Looks like he’s handing the ball to the catcher.

Delivery Simplified

• Relax in the set position, be loose
• Build & control momentum (hide the hip)
• Stay sideways, delay rotation
• Be patient, rotate late, unload back hip into foot strike
• Keep back foot on the ground through release

Stay sideways as long as possible.

For the South Paws, the 530 are a great blend of cavity back forgiveness and the feel and workability of blades. #redbirdavian #avianarmy #forgedgolfclubs #customgolf #customgolfclubs #golfequipment #golfstuff #golfing Avian Army, Left Handed Golf Club

We often spend our time analyzing pitchers from the mound to the plate.

Try flipping this viewpoint around & work from home plate back.

The perspective that matters most is what the hitters are seeing & reacting to.

Allow the delivery to happen, get to a strong position at foot strike, then bring down the house.

Stay sideways as long as possible.

Rhythm before foot strike & violence after. Rotate late, be patient.
