Today’s workout took me to Deep Cove with my good friend Rozina. 🥾🌲

We hiked a section of the iconic Baden-Powell Trail, an incredible network of trails that stretches across the North Shore from Horseshoe Bay to Deep Cove.

As a trainer, I always remind my clients that fitness doesn’t have to happen inside four walls. Hiking is one of the best functional workouts you can do—it strengthens your legs and glutes, challenges your cardiovascular system, improves balance and stability, and gives your mind a chance to reset.

Fresh air, great conversation, and a beautiful trail…that’s my kind of workout.

Have you hiked the Baden-Powell Trail? If not, add it to your list!

Life shift = body shift.

Starting this new production has been such a gift… but I’d be lying if I said it hasn’t challenged me in ways I didn’t expect. Long days, unpredictable schedules, and suddenly the routine that keeps me grounded—my workouts, my movement, my self-care—took a back seat.

And this week… my body let me know.

What started as a whisper turned into a loud message: tight psoas, hips out of alignment, even walking felt off. That’s the thing about the body—it keeps score. When we stop listening, it eventually makes us.

The wake-up call? You can’t pour into anything consistently if you’re not pouring into yourself.

Grateful I was able to see my amazing chiropractor girlfriend who got me back on track and shared an incredible stretch that reminded me how powerful simple, intentional movement can be.

This is your reminder (and mine):
Consistency doesn’t have to be perfect—but it does have to be present.

Even in the busiest seasons… especially in the busiest seasons.

Taking it one stretch, one step, one breath at a time 🤍
