As the sun sets on Paper Circle, we’re filled with gratitude for everyone who’s been part of our journey.
Though this chapter is closing, it’s not goodbye. We have hope of a future at the Paper Print and Book Museum in Athens, Ohio. Keep an eye out for our handmade papers... the story isn’t over yet.

Paper Circle, Sara Gilfert ‘s creation and my home away from home for the last seven plus years. How did I get so lucky? It’s not bittersweet it’s joyous, glorious, grand, beautiful, extraordinary experience of my life!! I’ve grown learned and found shelter in the storm in this amazing place called Paper Circle, thanks for the memories!!! All the people I got to work with, the longest was Drew Svoboda, what a good team we made, so many creative people. I was Master Papermakers Sara Gilfert’s last apprenticeship, what an honor! #grateful #paper #longlife

Paper Making, beater running , forming Kozo sheets and rinsing pigmented pulp, full day in the studio on a bitter cold winter day. Oh but the nights are crystal clear with a full moon. And so bright from the snow and the moon shining down on us . On our beautiful blue marble. Grateful to be alive…..#alive #beauty #moon #winter #handmade #kozo #paper
