Ubisoft’s restructuring could affect up to 122 positions

Ubisoft is proposing to close RedLynx, its Finland-based studio best known for the Trials motorcycle-platforming series. According to Video Games Chronicle, around 52 positions could be affected, with the company reportedly concluding that the studio is not sustainable in its current form because it has no active project.

Ubisoft plans to restructure and downsize Ubisoft Singapore, affecting 70 positions. That studio has contributed to the Assassin’s Creed franchise and led development of Skull and Bones.

The RedLynx closure is still a proposal subject to Finland’s required employee consultation process, so it should not be described as a completed shutdown.

A little Grammy FYC for Assassin’s Creed Black Flag: Resynced! 🏴‍☠️🖤

Best Score Soundtrack for Video Games and Other Interactive Media

Pretty surreal getting to make music for a world I’ve loved for so long. Had an absolute blast writing some gritty, swashbuckling tunes and contributing to the musical world of Black Flag.
