Develop at Ubisoft is back! 🎮 We are once again participating in Ubisoft's mentorship program for women and non-binary talent who are curious about making games.

If you're a current student or recent grad (graduated within the last 2 years), you'll get to work on your own project, receive guidance from experienced Ubisoft mentors, and gain insight into the gaming industry.

💥It was 3 days of creative chaos and experimentation! We just wrapped up our Game Jam bringing teams from various roles to put together prototypes and creative concepts.

Game Jams are where devs rapidly create a game prototype from scratch based on a theme within a set period of time. It was a burst of creativity seeing how the teams interpret the theme in their own way and collaborating with each other. by @ubisoftsingapore

How do you remake the world of Assassin’s Creed Black Flag for a new generation while staying faithful to the original?

For Black Flag Resynced, our artists anchored every creative decision around three core pillars: Faithfulness, Hyperrealism, and Dynamism.

From the way the Caribbean sunset paints the coast to the scowls of the Jackdaw’s crew, these principles helped the team strike a careful balance of pushing the visuals forward while retaining the vibrant style and character of the original Black Flag.

It's important to have open conversations in the workspace, and that is what our team members shared in a panel.

From being juniors to now leads in their fields, their personal experiences in the industry is what drove them to explore different ways to build an environment of open dialogue and a space for their team members to be heard.

The panel was co-hosted with the WIT Network, and we had keynote speaker Dharshi Harindra discussing on diverse perspectives and how we can reframe our assumptions of others.

It's been a month since launch and seeing the love from the community always makes us so thankful🫶

Paul Fu, Creative Director on Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced, was at Ubisoft Community Lounge Gamescom2026, sharing the many careful considerations taken by the team to bring both a faithful and refreshed experience to players.

It was also great to share the couch with Marco from Access the Animus and Alea from the band Saltatio Mortis as they showcased how the game and community have journeyed together.

🔥Running down the roads of the Dark Zone, an Agent rounds the corner in a firefighter uniform and a bright purple shotgun!

Cosmetics add to the life of being an Agent in The Division Resurgence and our Lead Technical Artist Shahman Sharifuddin makes sure it works smoothly in the game system. With his background as a programmer in UI/UX, his eye for design and technical knowledge lets him calibrate cosmetic assets to be well integrated in the game. “Seeing my work transformed into an experience for players makes the work all the more exciting!” - Shahman
