As we wrap up an immensely successful Activate in Johannesburg and reflect on the fulfilling experiences and interactions shared, I’d like to extend a heartfelt vote of thanks to my brother, @mokoenalive

Thank you for your hospitality, time, and effort, and for generously sharing your networks and expertise with us throughout our time in South Africa.

Your commitment to connecting African creatives reflects the industry we are working to build - one grounded in trust, shared opportunity, and collaboration across borders.

We leave Johannesburg with stronger relationships and a clearer sense of what Uganda, South Africa, and Africa at large can build together.

Siyabonga, brother.

African screen talent. One room. A shared ambition to build beyond borders. 🎬
Through the iKON Film and Television Awards, we hosted the iKON Activate Soirée in Johannesburg and welcomed @pasi_koetle, @gaosi_raditholo, @nunukhumalo, Nathaniel Ramabulana, @mamphob, @lerato_mvelase, @kgomotso_christopher, Luyanda Zwane, @kagisocanvus and other industry guests.
We created the evening to strengthen relationships across African film. The next step is turning these connections into partnerships, productions and opportunities for our creatives.
