When planning @ucefinebuilders Media Day, we looked at their social media metrics to see what their audience responds to most. Aerial imagery is a form of content that consistently stands out.

So we make it a priority.

This drone footage of a UCE project in Litchfield County gives viewers a better sense of the site, the scale of the project, and how it is taking shape within its landscape.

We utilize data driven insights to guide our content strategy and build the creative to match.

Construction has begun at Northeast Building Supply in West Cornwall, CT after a devastating fire destroyed the lumberyard back in January, 2015.
The new facility brings together retail, showroom, and operations in a modern thoughtfully designed building all under one roof.
It is incredibly rewarding to see the first concrete walls standing and to watch years of design work transition from renderings to reality. We look forward to sharing the progress as construction continues.

This custom fabricated steel railing features flowing bends, minimalist detailing, and a hand-patinated blackened steel finish that brings warmth and depth to the space. Carefully integrated with the exposed concrete and natural wood stair, it complements the architecture while making a statement through craftsmanship and materiality.

Every curve, connection, and finish was completed by hand to create a railing that feels both refined and timeless.

🌎 Kicking off our Earth Month series, we’re focusing on the cedar screen developed for House Between Forest and Field and its adjacent studio building. Quarter sawn red cedar battens are fixed to solid steel bar stock posts, creating an ambiguous sense of interior / exterior. The outdoor room is used by inhabitants all year.

SITE VISIT.

Heide, who leads our interior design studio, often partners with architects outside of our firm, which gives her a chance to stretch her creativity across a diverse range of architectural styles.

Currently in progress is a progressive, modern, cast concrete and glass mountain house designed by the esteemed New York City based firm @marblefairbanks and being constructed by @ucefinebuilders.

As the rooms begin to take form, her work will begin by introducing a color block story of tinted lime plaster inspired by Le Corbusier’s Parisian apartment. This will be followed by elegantly layered interiors which will include bespoke pieces, antiques and mid-century furnishings inspired by the warmth of Ray and Charles Eames House in the Pacific Palisades.

Follow along as we work towards a Fall ‘25 completion date!
