Nolan’s The Odyssey is set to have some competition soon, from the world’s first crowd-produced musical! Epic the musical by Jorge Rivera Herrans is set to be produced in the next few years - Since 2022 it’s amassed a huge online following through the efforts of dedicated fan animations, and yet, it started as an ambitious master’s thesis. This Friday from 4:30-6pm, we’re screening Act 1 with Musical Theatre society, who will host Act 2 next week. If you’re sick of AI-generated videos, come by and see what fan passion can create - and has created! Details: Friday 16th October 16:30-18:00 English Common Room, Foster Court (2nd Floor) Tickets here -> https://studentsunionucl.org/whats-on/clubs-societies/epic-musical-screening-act-1-english-society-x-musical-theatre-society
