Grateful for the opportunity to visit the University of Connecticut and connect with students in their speech program. Conversations like these help bridge the gap between personal experiences with stuttering and the professionals who will support people who stutter in the future. Thank you to the UConn community for making space for these important conversations.

Happy World Audiologist Day!

Audiologists play an essential role in helping people of all ages hear, communicate, and connect with the world around them. As the need for hearing healthcare continues to grow, so does the importance of the work audiologists do every day!

A huge thank you to the audiologists in our clinic and department for the care, expertise, and dedication you bring to your patients, students, and our community. We appreciate all that you do! 🦻✨

Congratulations to Adriana, one of our speech-language pathology graduate students from @uconn, on completing her graduate clinical placement in our Oxford office today!

Adriana has thrived in implementing a play-based, responsive approach to therapy and has grown her clinical skills to evaluate and treat children with articulation, feeding/swallowing, language, literacy and pragmatic disorders.

Her commitment, compassion, and positivity have left a lasting impression on the children, families and team in our Oxford office. Marina is so proud of all that you have accomplished so far and cannot wait to see all the success you will have as a SLP!

This week was our last Literacy Group of the semester for preschoolers. @uconn_slhs students visit @uconncdl preschoolers once a week each semester! SLHS students read a story, teach a word in sign language, teach a sight word and letter and sing a song. It is a highlight of our week! We love connecting with our community and learning!
