We’ll be back on October 20 for another game day, with a BIG announcement you won’t want to miss! 👀

And be sure to join us on November 14 for an on-field competition with a chance to win a prize!

Your next internship could help your creativity take flight. 🎨✈️

UD senior Cynthia Brosky, who is pursuing a major in Fine Arts with a minor in Advertising, spent this year as a Guest Experience Intern with the Philadelphia International Airport’s Department of Aviation.

Working with the airport’s Head Curator of Exhibitions, Cynthia participated in a 13-week cohort focused on creating an accessible digital art guide for the airport. Her work included editing photo and audio files, writing alternative descriptions for accessibility and adjusting map graphics to help visitors explore PHL’s artwork and exhibitions.

"Throughout this internship, I have learned about the different stages of art curation and visitor experiences. I also learned about industry communications and teamwork building in a corporate setting, especially with airport operations."

Want to discover where your interests could take you? Come to the Internship Symposium on September 30 to hear about students’ experiences and explore internship opportunities for yourself.

An internship can change the way you see the world around you. 🌳

Spencer Williams, a junior Wildlife Conservation and Ecology major with a minor in Museum Studies and Public Engagement, spent this summer as an environmental education intern at Brandywine Creek State Park through the Delaware State Parks internship program.

As a seasonal naturalist, Spencer hosted programs on historical and environmental topics, developing skills in interpretation and public speaking.

"But what I found most meaningful, was watching how each visitor appreciated the park and land in different ways. Whether they were attending a program, walking their dog, smelling the flowers, or taking pictures of the butterflies, each person had a different perspective of a relatively small state park."

Interested in finding an internship that connects your interests with hands-on experience? Join us at the Internship Symposium on September 30 to hear from fellow UD students and explore opportunities you can pursue while at UD.

Today, we’re checking in with #UDWorldScholar Ritika Mundalmani, a Marketing major with minors in Business Analytics and Advertising. Ritika is currently interning in London, England at Setax Training Consultancy Ltd, a company that specializes in GxP compliance, auditing, and training for the pharmaceutical industry. As a Digital Marketing Intern, Ritika has been creating social media content, developing marketing materials, and exploring ways to use AI to create engaging content and improve the company’s online presence. Ritika shared, “It’s been a great opportunity to apply what I’ve learned in my marketing courses while also gaining experience with content creating, branding, and digital marketing strategies in a professional setting.”

Ritika noted that one of the most interesting parts of the internship has been working in the NatWest Accelerator building, where many startups operate. Ritika added, “It’s been inspiring to see so many different businesses and entrepreneurs working in the same space.”

Outside of her internship, Ritika has also been exploring the city! Ritika explained, “My internship is located in the city’s business district, and there are always markets, cafés, and events happening nearby.” She’s also enjoyed experiencing the city’s public transportation, visiting different neighborhoods, and just taking in the atmosphere after work and on the weekends.
