Based in Leicestershire, the foundation tackles global environmental and social challenges through UOCEAN (oceans), UEARTH (land), and UHUMANS (humanitarian support). They empower marginalised communities worldwide, creating pathways to safety, opportunity, and lasting change. Chris (photographed on the Left) founder of The Vayyu Foundation will be presenting the award for Top Fundraiser at the final for the contestant who raises the most money for the charity. Reshma (photographed on the right) will be on our judging panel. She has previously taken part in Mrs India Worldwide and currently runs the UHUMANS sector of the foundation. The Greatest Teachers I’ve Ever Had Weren’t Found in a Classroom Learning should never stop. One of the greatest gifts we can give ourselves is the willingness to remain a student throughout our entire lives. No matter our age, experience, qualifications, or achievements, there is always something new to discover, understand, and share. This photo captures a moment of me teaching others how to plant trees, but the truth is that every session teaches me something too. The communities we work with, the volunteers, the young people, and the environment itself are all incredible teachers. At The Vayyu Foundation, we believe education is one of the most powerful tools for change. Whether we’re planting trees, delivering conservation projects, supporting communities, or creating opportunities for people to connect with nature, every experience is a chance to learn, grow, and evolve. The trees we plant today are more than just trees. They are lessons in patience, responsibility, stewardship, and hope. They remind us that the greatest impact often comes from small actions repeated consistently over time. Stay curious. Stay humble. Keep learning. Keep teaching. Keep growing. Because the moment we stop learning is the moment we stop expanding what is possible. This was on the @vegvancommunityfarmcic

Yesterday, on International Women’s Day, we planted 83 trees. Each tree represents one of the 83 women who lost their lives to domestic abuse. 83 lives. 83 stories. 83 futures taken far too soon. While many mark the day with words, we chose action creating a living reminder in our community that these lives mattered and that this issue still demands our attention. We were honoured to have our Charity Ambassador Miss England Grace Richardson and students from Leicester University's Hindu Society join us. These trees stand not only in remembrance, but as a promise: that we will speak up, stand together, and refuse to stay silent when something is wrong. 83 trees. 83 women remembered. 🌳

On the 115th International Women’s Day, we planted over 100 trees including 83 to commemorate the women who lost their lives to domestic abuse last year. 83 lives. 83 voices that were not heard. Today we remember them, and we call for a future where no woman is failed by the system meant to protect her. 🌱

My final Instagram post of the year personally— and one I’ll carry with me for life. I’m deeply honoured to have received what is, without question, one of the most meaningful awards of my journey: The Gentlemen of the Heart Award @gentlemenofheartawards This recognition is given to men who actively uplift, protect, and champion women — and I receive it with humility and responsibility. Through our work with The Vayyu Foundation, and across the projects I’ve been privileged to lead, I’ve always believed that when women rise, humanity rises. Equality isn’t a slogan — it’s a daily practice. I was raised by an extraordinarily strong woman. She shaped my values, my empathy, my fire, and my sense of justice. Because of her, I see the feminine not as something to be dominated or diminished — but as something divine. In my eyes, she is Shakti. The creative force. The life-giver. The power that builds, heals, and transforms worlds. This award is not a finish line — it’s a reminder. To keep showing up. To keep listening. To keep creating spaces where women are safe, seen, respected, and celebrated. I step into the new year carrying this honour not on my shelf — but in my actions. With gratitude. With purpose. With heart 2026 - @uoceanleicester @uoceanproject @uearthproject @uhumansproject @uocean_kenya @uhumansproject
