SEASON 3 EP 1 - ARTIST REVEAL: @dhtoomey

A ways out east, there’s a story unfolding at a place called @gutterbar in a little town called Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Feels like the ‘ol times. Folks comin’ together. Talkin’, drinkin’… doing whatever we used to do before the world got so dang complicated.

It’s something of a talk show, a late night show, a concert with music and improv games… all I know is it’s a dang hoot with some real solid folks.

Speaking of folks, @dhtoomey will be there. He’ll be takin’ the reigns, tellin jokes, stories, commentaries, and all that and what have you.

My girl @futureproofmeg recently reminded me that I’m a human BEing, not a human DOing. Simply being is enough. But who do we want to be?
Took a deep dive this Rosh Hashanah to reflect on how I lived this year and really listening to my gut on how I want my life to look moving forward. Thinking about how I treated myself and others, and how I can be better. There are no wrong answers, therefore there are no mistakes. We are works in progress, key word is progress. Forgive yourself the way you forgive others. Each moment, stumble or triumph, is simply an opportunity to learn and grow when speaking and acting mindfully with intention.
Anytime I’ve been asked this year what I’ve been up to lately, my answer has been, “paying attention to what feels like joy and moving towards it.” That’s still the plan.
Thank you for being a part of this last year. If you’re here, you’ve likely been a source of joy.
I hope I’ve brought you some, too 💙
