Another super fresh painting, ‘and the forest began to stir..’ is now showing @whitakermuseum until December 13th.

Great afternoon celebrating the launch of The Whitaker Open. It’s a good one! Chuffed to be hung next to fellow Rogue artist and best smile award winner @mcfriendy - and below the talented @ulafungstudio ✨

Plus it’s a pleasure for me to see worlds collide in my local gallery; with up and coming artists from the Valley displayed alongside studio mates at Rogue , great NW artists, new colleagues & recent graduates plus local school groups… all being showcased. And mega congrats to @mikeakelly.work on the collections acquisition 👏🏻

Solid work by team Whitaker & excellent selections by artists; Holman, Saghir & Wainwright & Gaynor Seville.

Next weekend is Rossendale Art Trail - @rossendalearttrail - Where you can visit The Whitaker plus myself, Florian Houlker, Zara Saghir, Robin Mexicobranch Broadley & Sarah Hardacre will be coming together as ‘East Lancs Export Co.’ at Park Mill, Helmshore. Come see em both!

‘Two Minutes’ is a Q&A exchange in which we we ’swing‘ between the roles of asking and answering. The two-minute limit grew out of a conversation about how much you can actually say in two minutes, and became the framework for the project.
