På invigning av konsten i det nya parkeringshuset i Masthugget visade @ulrika_segerberg sitt verk Kissed by Baubo. Så härligt med Ulrikas flödande väggmålningar tillsammans med den målade bronsskulpturen! 😍

Extra bonus att äntligen få träffa Ulrika, som bor i Berlin, efter att hon var gästlärare på @falkenbergskonstskola när jag pluggade där. 🤩🎉

From giant pink boots to a hand with floating eyes, Ulrika Segerberg uses her work to imaginatively catapult both herself and the viewer into previously inaccessible worlds.⁠

Oscillating between figuration and abstraction, her pictorial universe draws on mythology, folklore and popular culture to conjure scenes that are at once familiar and uncanny.⁠

Bringing together painting, ceramic objects, textiles and text, Segerberg’s multidisciplinary practice delights and disorients in equal measure, offering a dizzying interplay of colour, character and humour.⁠

Das skulpturale Loch ist ein vielschichtiges Motiv in der Kunstge-schichte. Es fungiert sowohl als physische Öffnung (Perforation,
Schnitt) wie auch als konzeptionelle Leere oder Leerstelle, die Abwesenheiten und das Unsichtbare in den Fokus rückt.

Die von SKULPTURVEREIN konzipierte Ausstellung versammelt während der diesjährigen Urlaubssaison sieben sehr unterschiedliche künstlerische Arbeiten zum Thema „Loch”.

Ganz bald besuchen uns am MINTgrünen Klassenzimmer Hildegard Skowasch und Ulrika Segerberg und erschaffen zusammen mit den Kindern „Windbilder“ für 48 Stunden Neukölln. Kommt am Samstag, 4. Juli um 15-18Uhr vorbei und erlebt wie sich das MINT durch die Objekte verändern wird!

Ulrika Segerberg und Hildegard Skowasch erkunden mit den Teilnehmenden am MINTgrünen Klassenzimmer die Formensprache großformatiger Bilder im Wind und verhandeln dabei Fragen von Grenze, Schutz, Markierung und Identität. Ulrika Segerberg verbindet in Installationen Malerei, Textil, Objekt. Sie kollaboriert u.a. im Duo M.O.G., in der Band Matka und dem ‘Skulpturverein’. Hildegard Skowasch ist Mitinitiatorin u.a. von „Generator“, „HildegardProjekt“ und dem „Skulpturverein“. Ihre Werke umfassen Zeichnungen, Keramik und Pappmachéplastik.

Ulrika Segerberg and Hildegard Skowasch explore the formal language of large-format “wind images” addressing questions of boundaries, protection, marking, and identity. Ulrika Segerberg combines painting, textiles, and objects in her installations. She collaborates with the duo M.O.G., the band Matka, and “Skulpturverein.” Hildegard Skowasch is a co-initiator of “Generator,” “HildegardProjekt,” and “Skulpturverein.” Her works include drawings, ceramics, and papier-mâché sculptures.

The MINTgreen Classroom at Tempelhofer Feld is an open experiential space where artistic practice, nature education, and urban space converge. Tempelhofer Feld—once an airport, now a public open space—is itself a place of transition where nature and the city meet directly. It is precisely at this intersection that the Green Classroom functions as an experimental space for learning and encounter.

For this year’s edition of the 48h Neukölln art festival, we are exploring the tension between openness and separation, as well as between freedom and the need for protection. Leading up to the festival weekend, artists Catherine Rose Evans, Michaela Zimmer, Ulrika Segerberg, and Hildegard Skowasch have been invited to visit the MINT Green Classroom during class hours and, together with the children in workshops, artistically explore the boundaries of “outside and inside.” The classroom temporarily becomes a laboratory for shared experiences and questions about community, belonging, and the future.
