my favorite compliment is “you’re just like you’re mom.”

because it means even a small part of me reflects who you are. an incredibly kind, giving, strong-willed, witty, soul-full light that fills any room she is in. I feel the prettiest when I think I look like you, and laugh the hardest when I’m with you.

I’ve been around for 27ish of your years, and it has been such a pleasure to have you to look up to. To have the opportunity to steal all your perfumes, or copy the outfit I saw you in the day before. To have your humor and carry your cackle. You’re so f***ing cool, so giving and I *cannot* tell you how proud I am of you for following your dreams on both @ulsfarmtotable and @thepoliteplatter

Happiest birthday, mom.
I love you to the moon and back, and I so enjoy every trip around the sun with you. To another filled with more laughter, more love and a few more goats!! Happy to check your grammar anytime and I get a free pass for swearing on the internet bc it’s your bday

he was born on a little farm off of the apostle islands in a pig pen. v fitting we got a lake superior puppy. he is half great pyreneese, like the little lady, then mixed with golden + german sheppard.

he has stolen our hearts, a few socks and came just at the perfect time- the yearly restart of gilmore girls + our new backyard!
