Soup season has arrived!!

We kicked it off with Sasha's insanely delicious chicken noodle soup, full of homemade bone broth, veggies from our local farmers at @oldenorganics, and even a little of our own zucchini stash from the ULS farm 🚜.

Nothing goes better with homemade soup than fresh baked focaccia. 🍞 The students loved it, and that in itself is the highest praise 👏 by @ulsfarmtotable

Happy Friday!
Today was a perfect day to offload the very last of our fall harvest of unforgettable yellow watermelon. 💛 It was the perfect add on for our Fall Field Day lunch. Kids ate Hebrew National hotdogs, protein pasta salad, and fresh watermelon 🍉

Can't end the day there, though. Miss Sasha shucked 300 ears of corn 🌽 for tomorrow's Fall Fest Facilities fundraiser. We hope to see you there!!! by @ulsfarmtotable

This time of year there's double the work for the farm to table team!
After a morning of cooking and serving lunch the crew heads down to the farm to harvest.

An ordinary lunch with extraordinary ingredients. Who doesn't want a fully loaded cheese quesadilla with homemade pico de gallo and fresh veg?

We are finally cashing in on our tomatoes 🍅 at the ULS Farm 🚜 and soft launched wisconsin-grown and organic corn on the cob from @oldenorganics.

August and September are huge harvest months so stay tuned for more fresh and locally grown orgabic produce in our lunches.

First week back and it feels so great to have the halls alive and bustling with sounds of laughter and the overall positive back to school vibes.

We've got new menu items this year and can't wait to feed everyone with scratch made meals, prepared with local produce and protein.

Our first week featured local regenerative beef from @amodernfrontier and fresh produce from @oldenorganics, as well as some very special treats from our very own ULS Farm and Gardens.

Tomorrow we welcome back our amazing teachers and staff for in service week and we wanted to take a moment to reflect on the amazing summer on campus and at the farm.

Lettuce cut and delivered by @thepoliteplatter for our summer campers who ventured down for impromptu 🌼flower🌼 picking and lessons on things that grow.

Beautiful harvests of squash that went to friends at @the_inn_hartland and to local food pantries.

Visits from friends we know and friends yet to hatch 🐣

And capping it all off with a fantastic show of community at our Hawk Hill Homegrown. 👏

We love you and we love feeding you!
