We're absolutely blown away to have won the Solas Nua New Voices Award for our recent performances of SUPLEX @dublinfringefest alongside our wonderful Set Designer @izzie.hamilton who took home the Making it Happen Award. Additional to this, we had the privilege of being nominated for the Radical Spirit Award. Madness altogether.

Thank you so much to every single person who was part of the production, it really is not possible without the endless support of our audiences, teams and loved ones xx

GOODBYE EDINBURGH FRINGE !!!!

They told me to book a week off after this to sleep and I thought ok I’ll do it but probably a bit over the top ? THEY WERE RIGHT !!! EDINBURGH HAS GOT HANDS !!!!!

It was literally, literally a dream to present The King of All Birds for 24 shows at Summerhall this August. Every day for the whole month of August I got to lift up that mask at the start of the show and see people from all over the world, people with a big tie to this story and people with no ties at all. And then I get to share this strange, strange story with all those people. A DREAM!!!!

Thank you forever to everyone who has supported it from the beginning in 2021 (!!??!?!?) especially @cultureireland, @summerhallarts, @dublinfringefest, @fieldarts_ie, @panpantheatre, @projectartscentre, everyone whose brain I racked about those aerial photos. To everyone who I have begged, borrowed and stolen equipment from for this show for the last 3 years (you know who you are). To everyone who has contributed beautiful work to this over the years, when I think about it it makes me cry. This has been a labour of love by so many people over such a long time. And OF COURSE to the team who came with me to Edinburgh, and every day decided to get behind this thing so fully. I will especially miss, 2 mins before doors every day, @jennacrossan saying ‘will I berry you up?’

A friend sent me a photo of an aerial photograph that their family member had bought from a door-to-door salesman just last month, it’s still happening, but I like to think sometimes we brought it back.

BIRDS 4EVER!!!!!!
