We got a little heavy with the boys mental health takes. As Henry would say “Respect to Them” for doing it. But nothing like NBA Draft takes in the midst of the Conference Finals. #nbadraft #hornets #henryandjimmy #mavs #nba

Some moments are bigger than the game.
At the Final Four in Indianapolis, it wasn’t just about Michigan being on that stage…it was about who was there to support them.

The Fab 5. A group that changed college basketball forever…back in the building, showing love to the next generation. No egos, no spotlight chasing, just respect.

Past meeting present.

That’s what makes programs special, it’s not just wins and losses…it’s legacy, it’s brotherhood, it’s the ones who came before pouring into the ones wearing it now. That moment meant something.
Tap in, this one is different.

Sometimes the journey brings you right back home…Coach Akeem Miskdeen started in Chicago. That’s where the dream began.

Years later, after the grind, the long road, and stops across the country… that journey came full circle. Michigan, the Final Four, the United Center.

Back in his hometown, on one of the biggest stages in the game.

That’s what the journey can do. If you stay with it long enough...it brings everything back around.

Tap in, this one is special.

In a world where everyone is chasing the next job…Coach Akeem Miskdeen chose something different.

Wherever he’s been, the focus wasn’t “what’s next”… it was what’s now. Making that school the most important school in the country.
Pouring into the players. Building something real.

No shortcuts, no looking ahead, no using the moment as a stepping stone. Just full commitment to where his feet are.

Because when you approach it that way… the next opportunity takes care of itself.

This is what coaching is really about.

Tap in.

Sometimes the hardest decisions aren’t about where you’re going…

they’re about what you’re leaving behind.
Akeem Miskdeen didn’t want to leave Wingate.

He was comfortable, was growing and was helping building something special.

Then the opportunity came to return to Hampton.

And that’s when Coach Good gave him advice that stuck: “Never pass on an opportunity.”

Simple… but not easy.

Because growth doesn’t always come at the perfect time. It shows up when you least expect it, and forces you to make a decision.

Stay comfortable… or take the next step. That moment helped shape the path.

Tap in, this one hits.

Every stop, every role, every opportunity… building toward something bigger.

This is what the coaching journey really looks like when you stay locked in and trust the process.

Tap in, this one is all about the grind.
