The Physician Assistant White Coat Ceremony is a symbolic rite of passage representing the transition from student to clinician. On April 26, our current class of PA students took that important step, receiving their white coats and pledging their commitment to patient care, professionalism and ethical practice.

Congratulations to our newest PA graduates! We’re proud of all you’ve accomplished and excited to see you thrive in your careers.

Have you heard about PAEA fellowships? If you are a current PA student you should consider applying. There are two, year long fellowship groups each made up of 15 students across the country:

1: Future Educators Fellowship -designed to enhance PA students’ understanding of the components needed to be a successful PA educator. By the end of the Fellowship, Fellows will understand the elements of the PA Educator Competencies, develop skills within the Foundational PA Educator Competencies, and develop skills within the Functional PA Educator Competencies

2: Health Policy Fellowship- The SHPF is designed to enhance students’ understanding of the political process and health policy. The ultimate goal is to inspire and prepare fellows for lifelong grassroots advocacy, both in Washington and at home, that promotes the PA profession as an integral part of the health care system.

Applications are due July 11th!!!!
