On health care, the choice couldn’t be clearer.

I’m fighting for Medicare for All so EVERY Floridian is covered. That means no premiums, no deductibles, no copays and no surprise bills.

Ashley Moody voted to cut Medicaid and opposed the tax credits that kept coverage affordable for working families.

Florida deserves a Senator who fights to lower your costs, not raise them.

Awesome weekend at Barber Vintage Motorcycle Fesrival in Birmingham, Alabama!

Huge thanks to @triumphmotorcycles, @booksamillion, and @barbermotorpark for having me out to share Motorcycle Life, sign books, and connect with so many incredible people who share my passion for motorcycles.

Great bikes, great people, and an unforgettable weekend. Grateful to everyone who stopped by, picked up a copy, and shared a story. What a ride!

Next stop on the Motorcycle Life book tour: Los Angeles at Book Soup and Moto Beach. Check my posts for details!

What @unc.pappy said.

I hate waking up to another reminder that while the birds are chirping and the ocean is still beautiful, people are being killed, land is being stripped, oceans are being treated like resources to extract from, and somebody somewhere is deciding how much destruction is acceptable.

And then we’re supposed to go inside, scroll, work, consume, repeat.

I don’t want to become so disconnected from nature that I stop caring what happens to it.

I don’t want suffering somewhere else to feel unreal just because I can’t see it from my window.

· . · . · . ·

So fight the system however you can.

Learn. Speak up. Protect what you love. Spend time outside. Pay attention.

And still enjoy your life.

Watch the sunset. Get in the ocean. Listen to the birds. Hug your kids. Thank God for what is still beautiful.

Caring about what is wrong with the world does not mean refusing to experience what is right in front of you.

Don’t take a single breath for granted.

Uncle Pappy, floating in the Florida sun, explaining the Roadless Rule better than most of Congress. 45 million acres, a comment deadline of October 6, and an official you can’t vote out.

The 2001 Roadless Rule blocks new roads and commercial logging on about a third of national forest land. The Secretary of Agriculture is moving to repeal it on a wildfire argument. Uncle Pappy’s right that it matters. Here’s what he doesn’t get to: the Secretary isn’t on any ballot. Congress is. Every House seat and a third of the Senate on November 3, and Congress can write the rule into law or let it die.

So make the ask specific. Two promises, money in escrow, broken word goes to charity:
1. Vote no on any repeal of the Roadless Rule.
2. No individual stock trading while in office.

One dollar or one million, their call. The commitment is what counts. Tag your senator, your rep, and whoever is running against them. Ask who’s willing to get Bonded✓. Then send this to one person who hunts, hikes, or fishes on public land. Pappy would.

Draft the bond at CivicBond.US.
