So, I'm just going to put this out into the atmosphere! 🎤✨

One day, W. Imara Canady and I will co-host the UNCF televised awards show or another major nationally televised celebration of excellence! Yes, I'm speaking it into existence! 🙌🏽

After co-chairing the NFBPA Leadership Awards Gala, where our chemistry, energy, and stage presence had folks dubbing us “Sonny & Cher,”😂 I couldn't help but think… perhaps this is just the beginning of something even BIGGER!

We laughed, we flowed, we complemented each other's strengths, and most importantly, we connected with the audience. The chemistry wasn't rehearsed. It was simply there!

Sometimes, God gives you a glimpse of what's possible before He opens the next door.

Well, consider the vision WRITTEN, SPOKEN, and now PUBLICLY DECLARED! 🙏🏽

Imara, my friend, I hope you're ready, because I see bigger stages, brighter lights, and an even greater opportunity to celebrate leadership, service, and excellence!

The journey has begun!

Day 1 of the UNCF College Tour, sponsored by Best Buy, is officially underway! Our College Campus Tours team welcomed students at the airport, helped them settle into the hotel, and brought everyone together for a welcome dinner.

New faces, new connections, and new possibilities. We’re ready for a week of discovery as students explore what’s possible for their futures!

More than a bus ride—a blueprint for success.

At UNITE 2026, I had the privilege of sitting down with @emarvelous Errin Haines, president of the National Association of Black Journalists @nabjofficial . Our conversation turned to the state of HBCUs and UNCF’s capital campaign as we advance toward $1 billion.

As the son of a journalist, I have always known the power of a story well told. Errin understands that the story of HBCUs is inseparable from the story of this nation, and I am grateful for her partnership in making sure it is heard.

We recently sat down with @dr.enforcer as we take a deep dive in his professional and community-driven work. Ranging from education and inter-related fields, his dedication to his craft extends outside the classroom to the immediate community.

Combined with his upcoming induction to the @bluefieldrams Hall of Fame, his impact extends beyond the day. Make sure to read our article and watch the embedded video to learn more today 📜🏈

For these students, heading back to college means getting one step closer to the careers they’ve been working toward.

With scholarship support from Atlanta Housing, in partnership with @uncfatlanta , students can focus more on their education, their goals and the futures they’re building.

Our scholars continue to remind us that we are investing in their potential, their possibility and what comes next.

We’re proud to play a small part in helping our scholars keep moving forward.

We wish everyone an amazing year ahead.

I am excited to announce that I have completed Shadowbox's Backlot Academy and received the "Day-One Ready" Production Certification this summer!! This certification approves that I have mastered the fundamentals of set operation and production coordination for entry-level positions while having a working knowledge of office paperwork, SVOD production documents, phone and walkie etiquette, unions and guilds, lockups, and set etiquette.

I am beyond grateful to God, the family and friends that supported me, Entertainment Industry College Outreach Program (EICOP), Shadowbox Studios and the Backlot Academy staff, and the industry veterans that have taught and mentored me and my classmates along the way.

To my classmates, you all have been an absolute joy and blessing to learn alongside of. I am so excited for all God has in store for your lives and where our paths will cross in the future within the film and television industries.

I give God all the glory, honor, and praise as I step into this next season of my film journey with a deeper understanding of film industry trends, entertainment business, and each department that is involved in the production process.
