ALSO. A collaborative album by Jaco van der Merwe (@jacofundermerwe), FRNGE (@unclefrnge) and trxstxssx (@imtrxstxssx). Between 2014 and 2016, Jaco wrote a series of poems, each beginning with the word “Also”. These poems were eventually collected and published as a book in 2020. What began as conversations about accompanying the poetry with music gradually evolved into something sentimental for all three of us. Created in waves over five years, ALSO is a 17-track exploration of spoken word, experimental sound and atmosphere. Artwork by Kyle Kemink (@kem.inc) , who also designed the original book. Released through Chamber Collective (@chamber.core) & Wêreld (@wereld_sa) Available now on all major streaming platforms, and available to purchase on Bandcamp. Black and white cover with text reading: ALSO, Poems written by Jaco van der Merwe, Songs by FRNGE & trxstxssx

We started with a simple idea: creatives, athletes, and brands deserve more than surface-level storytelling. They need spaces to connect, collaborate, and build legacies. Through original series, behind-the-scenes stories, and cultural events, we’re flipping the way stories are told - and creating a platform where the people shaping culture can be seen, heard, and celebrated. This is more than media. It’s a movement. Welcome to The UDU Club. #TheUDUClub #UpsideDownUp #UDUSupply #CreativeCulture #Storytelling #BuiltByCreators

O WISHING 008 (LIVE) Consistency shows others that the people around us change as much as we do. I've intentionally included South African Artists in this radio show to open doors for other genres to take up space such as Future Beats and Remix Culture in which DJ's like me are at the forefront for opening taste buds and having a memorable experience. @converse.za is a brand that allows creatives to kick open boundaries for collaboration. The Converse All Star Program is something that manifested in front of little old me while I was looking into unique forms of marketing through graphic design. I've made a sub collab with @tamers.streetwear.online by making this poster with a thought provoking question and received many questions about why this even exists. Well, this exists because I am a round the clock curator (film, music, fashion) and love to showcase themes that shock you out of the mundane to realise what lives inside you. All artists involved are deeply appreciated with love from Tearyface. #OWISHING#converseza#converseallstar#tamersstreetwear

DISSIPATE — PART 2: HEALING FRNGE @unclefrnge Directed by Kate S. @that_turtle_there Presented by Chamber Collective @chamber.core Surrender. Fade in. Fade Out. Out now. -——————————————————————— I struggle a lot with sharing my thoughts on my works publicly. I’ve always been adhered to “just let the work speak for itself” mentality. But since Dissipate - it’s a literal showcase of the inner journey of mine to music, I think I’d like to share a few thoughts… This is the first time I feel like I was truly evolving with my work through time and life. The making of Healing ultimately brought me so much peace and acceptance. A heartfelt thank you to everyone involved in Dissipate and anyone who has pre-viewed it /shared your thoughts on dancing, music and life in general. You all caught me at a very special time and place in my life. I cherish you all. I hope you all find a tiny bit (or preferably a lot !) of solace and resonance through Dissipate. ———————————- Directed by Kate S. @that_turtle_there Presented by Chamber Collective @chamber.core Dancer: Zara Asa @flowarts_asa Executive Producer: Oneness Zheng @oneness_zeng Producer: Kate S. @that_turtle_there 1st AD: Daniel Lee @okokdanlee DOP: Kate S. @that_turtle_there 1st AC: Hang Chau @mamaecenass 2nd AC: Ho Ho Cheung @ginger_bb14 Editor: Kate S. @that_turtle_there Colourist: Anson Cheng @ansoncheng.visuals Poster: Han Jo @hanjo1010, @spoon.graphics Special Thanks: Lava Studio, Ken, Ollie, Cat, Justin Ho, Stephenie Kay, Chris
