Today is the grand opening for the new Meyerland @pudgysfinecookies and @undergroundcreamery, @undergroundsofties location. Recently, @chefsforfarmersfoodandwine, I met @eatsgonewild and sampled the ice cream for theb first time(yeah, I know... I'm late to the party). I was an instant fan, of both, the ice cream and everyone behind the booth. The new location introduces Underground's new soft serve set up. Pictured above is a cookie sundae, with vanilla soft serve and a classic chocolate chip cookie, topped with Oreo Msg(oreo crumbles that had been salted and malted). Pudgy’s Fine Cookies @pudgysfinecookies has expanded to Meyerland with its second location, teaming up with Underground Creamery @undergroundcreamery to introduce Underground Softies @undergroundsofties ! Pudgy’s was founded by Van Teamer in 2020, starting as a cookie pop-up before opening its first storefront in the Heights in 2022. Underground Creamery, founded by Josh DeLeon, has built a loyal following for its creative, small-batch ice cream and limited flavor releases. Now these two Houston-born businesses are taking their longtime partnership to the next level! The new concept combines Pudgy’s signature thick, gooey cookies with Underground’s soft-serve ice cream to create customizable cookie sundaes! 🍪 MY FAVORITE COMBO: * Bonanza Brulee cookie * Vanilla soft serve * Earl Grey caramel * Biscoff grit Other toppings include hot fudge, Oreo MSG (malted salted grit), and sprinkles! Vanilla bean is a staple soft-serve flavor, with a rotating second flavor and more toppings planned for the future.
