ARCHIVE001 / GUCCI
A publication exploring the archives of TANYAR & 313NEWYORK.

“I encountered these collections at a time in my life when I was beginning to understand fashion as a form of self-construction. Growing up as a South Asian woman, the sensuality Tom Ford presented often felt distant from the world I was raised in, yet never vulgar. Tom Ford’s Gucci opened a door into understanding how clothing could challenge the boundaries I had quietly built around myself while maintaining intentionality.”

ARCHIVE001 / ANN DEMEULEMEESTER
A publication exploring the archives of myself & 313NEWYORK.

“More than any designer, Ann taught me that clothing could become part of someone’s inner world rather than simply an image projected outward. I was drawn to the intimacy of her work long before I understood its history. Years later, it remains one of the foundations of my collection.”

Still buzzing from last week! Press play to step inside the 1st Annual Cypress Hills Fulton BID Meeting at Carro Cafe.

It was an incredible evening bringing together property owners, local entrepreneurs, residents, and community partners to reflect on our progress and set the vision for a clean, safe, and vibrant Fulton Street.

Thank you again to everyone who packed the room, and a special shoutout to the leaders and partners championing our community:

• Commissioner Kenny Minaya from NYC SBS @nycsmallbiz
• Jonathan from Congresswoman Nydia Velázquez’s office @rep_velazquez
• Council Member @cmsandynurse
• Michelle, Michael, and Lowell from CHLDC @cypresshills1983
• Sergeant Noor and our local NYPD officers @nypd
• @carrocafe for hosting us!
• Special thank you to Manisha Rohoo, owner of @themm.nyc , for the photos, and to Manas from NXT Stop for this Video!

Our corridor. Our community. Our future. We are building it together.

Hi this is Memi…. I’m honestly so nervous writing this rn… I just signed with a K-pop label called DayOneDream.
wtf. Let me explain.
Up until now I’ve been doing everything on my own, literally all by myself. super independent.

I somehow got lucky with the algorithm and started making music under the name MEMI. I was just cooking stuff in our band’s tiny practice room, my balcony at home, and most of it was shot on my iPhone. It takes forever doing everything alone but it’s just so fun that I can’t stop.

Then somehow I’ve met so many incredible people… honestly too many to even count. With all of them I suddenly can perform my own songs around the world🤯
I don’t think I could’ve kept making music without all these people and connections!

I had meetings with a lot of labels (huge honor!) but the timing never felt right. Then I met this label.
So… all the chaotic things I’ve been doing on my own,
I’m going to start doing them officially now here @m3mi_official

And lastly!! thank you to all of you. Bc of you I get to keep playing guitar. That really means everything to me🪽

Please keep watching what’s next !!
