Slovenia was never actually on our bucket list—it was just one of those unexpected destinations that will stay with us for a lifetime. We stayed in a quiet apartment near Lake Bohinj, surrounded by breathtaking mountains and crystal-clear rivers.

During our stay, we soaked in the views at Lake Bled, kayaked across Lake Bohinj, hiked through Triglav National Park, went white-water rafting on the Sava Dolinka, and soared across one of the longest ziplines in Europe. These are the adventures that catch you completely by surprise. 🇸🇮✨

One of the absolute biggest highlights of exploring Istanbul is the sheer presence of its mosques. Everyone knows the iconic Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque, but what really blew us away were the countless others tucked into every corner—so many beautiful structures that we couldn’t even name them all. Standing in the middle of it all, you get a real, tangible sense of history. The skyline literally tells the story of how massive, wealthy, and powerful the Ottoman Empire truly was back then. It’s one thing to read about it in books, but it’s another thing entirely to see it stretching out in every direction.

First day arriving in Switzerland, just after a snowfall that also happened in the Netherlands. While the mountains in Switzerland always had snow during winter, seeing snow in the city like Luzern was quite a rare sight. This showed our tired faces after spending 10 hours on a very busy train from Utrecht, arriving in the morning while our Airbnb check-in time was only at 15 in the afternoon. Luckily, after reaching out to the host, he allowed us to check in earlier at 13.
Also highlighting Coop Luzern station, which sustained our life for the next 7 days 😂

Hallstatt: a tiny village tucked between the mountains and the lake, and easily one of the most beautiful places we’ve ever visited. There is something truly magical about this town in the winter. We got so lucky with the weather and loved having the quiet streets to ourselves—a huge contrast to the summer crowds!
Huge thanks to @nextviewtours for making this dream trip happen.

Yosemite National Park (Part 2)
.
This is Yosemite Valley, home to some of the park’s most iconic sights. We stopped by Yosemite Valley Lodge, took a peaceful walk to the Lower Falls and Yosemite Village, then continued through the meadow and ended our trip with a short stop at the breathtaking Yosemite Valley View.

Yosemite National Park (part 1)

This 15-hour trip might be a once-in-a-lifetime adventure. The park's vast landscape left us speechless. Photos and videos barely capture its true beauty

Muir Woods National Monument
.
One of the must-visit places in San Francisco (in our opinion) — this national monument is home to magnificent giant redwood trees. It’s a peaceful stroll just outside the city, across the Golden Gate Bridge near Sausalito.

“Reunited”, at least in spirit, with all our cats who once lived with us in Malang. Two have already crossed the rainbow bridge, but I still find myself looking at their old photos.

Thanks to the magic of AI, we now have this adorable picture to remember them all together.
