The Dock Open Mic was so much fun tonight! We held the Royalty Slam & Open Mic. A surprise feature by @1andonlyfasa who was excellent. Congrats Go To @poetically_jamie Who Was Tonight’s Winner. He went head to head for two Rounds versus “Knowone” @misubmission to take the $200 cash and the crown. But in a surprise gesture of sportsmanship, Jamie awarded his competitor with $50 cash. I can’t believe I get a chance to support New Friends New Life as a host committee member and celebrate this organization’s tremendous work as they announce award-winning actress, producer, founder, and CEO, Tracee Ellis Ross, who will be the keynote speaker for this years highly anticipated New Friends New Life Stand for Her Luncheon on Thursday, September 24th at the Hyatt Regency Dallas!
I hope you will join me and other civic and corporate leaders, and countless community supporters, to celebrate NFL’s monumental work, and to hear Trace’s message about the power of resilience, self-discovery, and living authentically.
